Life is unfair. That's what Yoshimura Kozu realized, especially in this unfair society. Just about every single female developed a power, those which were later labeled as "Quirks." Meaning, all the men were born without a quirk, and he was one of them.

Even then, the men had quirk genes but couldn't manifest fully as a quirk, which was a strange phenomenon. Since then, males have been looked down on, misused, and utilized just about the same as toys.

It made him sick. He wanted a change, even if it meant to put his life on the line.
