In the reaturaunt, he meets new co-workers and his new boss, Vincent. Their relationship is a little bit off at first, but Vince finds himself to feel more than a work relationship for his Rody, and the grass might be just as green on the other side.
When those around Rody start coming too close or throw him to the dirt, his new friend just can't let that slide.

Without the dark undercurrents and maybe with a little bit of empathy, could things be different for them? Vincent had his sweet moments afterall. And Rody could be kinder and more curious when Manon wasn't involved.
