“I talk a little to the girl at the register. Turns out she went to the same school as Vegard. She had a major crush on him but he never knew she existed. So sad really. Well, that's life I guess. I wonder if she worked yesterday when we were there buying breakfast? I'm not gonna ask, she talks about him like she´s still into him. Apparently she runs into him now and then. I tell her I think she should talk to him. I mean, why not, she seems like a nice girl.”

That's how it all starts, a few friendly words. Nothing you think twice about, something you just say. Maja could never imagine what would come out of it. Hurtful words, broken hearts, destroyed friendships.

Vegard says yes to one date with the girl when she convinces him that Maja told her to ask him out. Instead of asking Maja if it is so, he just acts hurt and childish, thinking that Maja doesn't care about him, and gets caught up in an abusive relationship with a fatal outcome.

Can Maja help an 11 year old boy save his big brother?

[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. My dad, who had always been my hero, suddenly became a stranger, filled with rage and blame. He couldn't see that I was hurting, too; he only saw me as a reminder of his loss. The accusations cut deep. He said it was my fault for being there, for not doing something to save her. For being the reason she was in the car in the first place. In the years that followed, things only got worse. The abuse started gradually-a harsh word here, a shove there-but it escalated, leaving scars that I carried long after the physical pain faded. I was drowning in my own despair, struggling to keep my head above water while my father's anger raged like a storm around me. I only had a break from his anger when I started living with Aunt Dina-my mom's older sister. Well, that was because she found me nearly dead on my bed after I took a dozen pills. I was tired of living. I had hit rock bottom. The harsh whispers that followed me around and the stares at school. I pretended not to notice, like it didn't bother me. But it did. I was alone. Then came Athalia, a ray of sunshine cutting through my darkness. With her, I felt something I hadn't felt in years-happiness. She became my light through the darkness and my lifeline. ••••••••••• ● Warnings ⚠️ ~ Mention of suicide ~ Anxiety attacks ~ Rape attempt ~ Mention of self-harm ~ Depression

It was gentle and soft, something I never expected from a guy like him. He moved his right hand from my cheek to my waist, tugging me against him, and molded our bodies together. A wave of electricity went down to my core when he licked my lips. "Open your mouth, Bella." His commanding husky voice against my lips jolted my heart, and I followed his order like a slave. With no control, a moan erupted from my throat as his tongue met mine. It was barely audible, but I knew he heard it when he smiled against my lips. He swept my hair from my face to my back and gathered them in his fist. He tugged my head back, deepening the kiss, and my heart thrashed in my chest. At that moment, I didn't need drugs to know what being high felt like because his lips were enough to send me on nine clouds. Just once and I was addicted to it. If this is how being kissed feels like, then fuck, I've wasted a lot of time. ~^~^~^~ FEATURED ON: @Romance (Romantic Suspense) HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 Goodgirl, Darkpast #2 Badboy #5 Newadult

"Fuck." He whispers into my neck, sending a thrill of excitement through my body. His lips still smothered kisses over my neck and his hands roamed my body, starting at my chest, going down to my stomach. Caressing my soft skin, his thumb trailed circles on my groin before slightly slipping into the waistband of my jeans. My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape. "You drive me fucking crazy, Aria." ---------------------------- Aria Bailey finds it hard to fit in. Her parents are always busy and never have time for her. She lives alone at her family home and has top grades in all of her classes. But being a 17 year old friendless nerd comes with its disadvantages. She doesn't remember the sun. Her world has always been four walls and a locked door. No windows. No choices. No voice. The only time she was allowed to leave was when her pain meant saving her sister-or when she'd been "good enough" to earn it. They took her words early on. Beat them out of her until silence became survival. Then one night, everything changed A break-in. A gunshot. A breath of air colder than she'd ever felt. And suddenly, she was alone-left by a riverbank like forgotten trash. That's where he found her. Cruel. Cold. Powerful. A man with blood on his hands and no space for weakness. The kind of man other men fear: a mafia boss with no room for broken things. But he took her in. He doesn't know her story. Doesn't ask why she flinches when he raises his voice or why she can't speak. But for reasons he can't explain, he tries to fix what the world destroyed. She's silent. He's ruthless. And somehow, they both understand each other. Because sometimes the most shattered souls speak the loudest without saying a word.
