[CF3] In this first installment of a two-parter, Max and the Flock mistakenly turn their lives upside down upon arriving at a strange island, which just happens to be the home of roughly one hundred bionic kids who are all pioneered by trained leaders: Adam, Bree, and Chase. Rather than leaving, they decide to stay, introducing themselves to not only a new world of alliances but also enemies. What could possibly come from a situation like this?

He made a swift recovery, quickly joining her group and climbing up the ranks at the academy. His name was River James, and he didn't know where he came from. The only thing he knew was his name and that he had some sort of bionics, though he wasn't sure what exactly he had. Bree took it upon herself to show this guy the ropes. As the weeks wore on, Bree and River grew closer, and her own bad feelings about the people closest to her grew, as well. River showed her a world without her family and friends, one where it was alright for Bree to do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted to.
