Poems

A poetry book of my journey through friendship, love, loss, personal growth, confusion, betrayal, resentment, hate, hope, light, and eventual healing. Please enjoy

These poems that i have wrote mainly come from my depressive side or my romantic side. They all express who i am and what my life is like. I write these poems and share them with you because i hop that they will help you get through difficult situations about love, self-harm or suicide. I hope you all like these poems. I agree that they are not for everybody but i have wrote themto help you and me!!

This is my poetry and many more to come. thank you for reading . If you feel what I do, then I know it's real. "All poetry is written by me , do not take something and don't give credit for!"

I am broken And now that you see, what you've allowed to happen to me The evils you have forced into my existence Self-serving evils now defying you with such persistence You try to cover up your lies Dangling hope in front of my eyes ~~~ I write to inspire others and to find a piece of myself that was lost or I never knew I had. This book of poems, and sometimes random thoughts will include my raw emotions, late night thoughts and my opinions on random topics. Happy Reading!!

every day I'm left at a loss for words. ✘CW: mentions of suicide and self-harm © 2017-2023 alexxiajay, all rights reserved *i wrote this collection in 2017, i have only updated it recently. I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Along with pieces of life experience advice I've included poetry and spoken word pieces from different perspectives and I try to break down life into beautiful words that people can relate to and see that we all struggle- you're not alone and we are each so valuable.

This is a personal documentation through poetry. I am learning to look inward now, give myself love when I least want to. I do not live to love others, I live to love myself. I will find and create what is enough for me, and you will learn to let it be enough for you. 2022

-> for the ones who are hurt, heartbroken, overthinking, overwhelmed, and feel like they're slowly suffocating: -> for the ones who are deeply madly in love, are terribly obsessed, and or in a state of unrequitedness: -> for the ones who are self serving, self loving, and are seeking pleasure all the same... "I hope you find the comfort you are looking for"
