The star is, of course, Astarion. I have reincarnated 99 lives to be with him, again and again, in the hope that he would one day remember me. This is our story. Astarion ascended just like he wanted. Tav helped just like he asked. People change just like they were warned. Fair warning: Ascended Astarion is the villain, Tav frequently disassociates and justifies Astarion's behavior to themselves and the other companions. Domestic violence is implied but not depicted out-right. Verbal abuse is kept to a minimum. Two major characters will die eventually. An alternative epilogue at Withers' party. Time slips through my fingers. And I wonder. How much of me has been lost? How much of me has been found? But I am no optimist. So I wait. Dreading the day when I no longer recognise myself. Or worse, When others no longer recognise me. Will my life stop suddenly? Like a pendulum interrupted mid swing? Or slowly, like an old clock winding down. Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick. Tock. Sirena has no memory of her past as she awakens on the nautiloid. She doesn't just feel the tadpole behind her eye, working its way into her brain. She also feels something deeper...darker. The worm is being overshadowed by the constant desire- no NEED to kill...kill...KILL. Her only mission is to get revenge on those who have left her with only a name and this need to destroy. Everything else, her experiences, battles, and relationships will slowly reveal her past; whether it is useful or disturbing is another problem. However, her past is known to a select few. She will go on to find out she does indeed have a reason for the twitch she feels when a knife is in her hand. A reason why her body sings along with every strike of a blade against anything that moves. She is the daughter of Bhaal himself, the lord of murder. He sired not only her sweet name but the incessant desire for murder. She was trained in the arts of delightful music aswell as blades. Why? Because Bhaal's chosen must be so despicable that they can use honeyed words to convince their prey to commit their own murder, command a room of people to drop with the most angelic of Melodies. Her power resides in words because it was his desire, but her skills were moulded into something far more deadly. How she became lost with this urge is the main question pounding against her skull, but whoever did this didn't think of one thing. Sirena may have forgotten...but she will never forgive. Will she decide to resist this urge and get her revenge? Especially when it comes to those she will grow to love? Well...let's hope the dice roll in her favour. (This is a series I've created in honour of my durge run that I just had to write about. All inspired by conversations, events or areas through the course of the game. Since the game's release, she has been obessed with it and loves creating her own character and playing as a hero or a villian. She even developed a character crush on the pale elf, Astarion. One night, when she was in the middle of playing the game a large tentacle emerged from her TV and dragged her into the video game. She woke up to find herself inside a mind flayer ship and she recieved a tadpole which could turn her into a mind flayer at any given moment. After the ship crashed, (y/n) meets the companions who will accompany her on her journey, including her character crush. Will they be able to find a cure on time before the tadpole turns them into mind flayers?
