Nicole Ilina. 27. Single mother of one beautiful daughter, and running from her past. She moved to a new state with her best friend, new number, new address and trying to find a new life for not only herself but her child.
She had been here for about two years now, hiding. She just starts to feel like she is settled in when she notices a new neighbor moving in. He doesn't talk much. Seems to keep to himself but there was something about him that seemed...off. So she keeps her distance. That is until she has a chance encounter with him one evening.
Now she can't seem to stay away from him. Or get away. Fighting her brain; which is shooting clear warning signs, and her heart; which begs her to get closer. There seems to be more to him than what she sees on the surface and to top it all off, her past begins to nip at her heels and threaten the very life she made for herself and her daughter.

He had purposely swirled her along with him, changing their position. His front was dangerously touching her back. "It's a weak who always run away showing back." He whispered in her ears, his breaths touching her neck. No respite from the insatiable abyss that consumed joy and drowned laughter. It wasn't any one thing that slowly began to chip away at Simon's carefully constructed walls.
