My mother always used to say that two people who are meant for each other will find their way. Maybe in a roundabout way and it may take time, but they'll find it. For us, that detour was the end of the world, bringing together our so different and equally broken souls.
Suddenly you were there, without me looking for you, and changed everything. Like a force of nature, you entered my life, taking away all air to breathe. Just one fleeting moment, one look into those determined eyes that hid so much more than was initially apparent, and I knew you would be my weak point.

Katrina Brooks was never prepared for the end of the world. Never in her wildest dreams would she have imagined the dead would rise to eat the living.
But fear and despair were her new daily companions in a world where she wore the stench of death like a perfume.
Humans were the worst creatures that ever walked the earth, even when the dead started walking. Kat learned this the hard way.
Alone, hungry and on the run, she tries to put her father's plan into action. So far, she has avoided the dead and especially the living. Therefore, running into a certain redneck was never on her mind. Let alone planned.

𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞.❞ Daryl Dixon had a terrible upbringing. From his alcoholic and abusive father to his always absent older brother due to military. He was always the outcast, a lone wolf if you will. But when he meets Kendra Kelly, the millionaires that live upon a hill on a mansion, he begins to see the beauty in someone and slowly falls madly in love with her. To her heavily made up face, to her sweet laugh, Kendra Kelly is easy on the eyes. So when Daryl asks her to move in, her mother, a woman who loves and takes pride in her image (especially money), is furious, hating Daryl because he has no money for their daughter. Yet when the zombie apocalypse hits, after they have long broken up due to this, the first person he thinks of is his first ever love, Kendra. They eventually find each other, Kendra being in a group with her new boyfriend, Markus Hay. They have no choice but to put old feelings aside, survival the main focus. Follow along with these two poignant characters (Daryl Dixon and Kendra Kelly) that are, undoubtably, the antithesis of one another. The saying goes, "opposites attract." But how long will this actually remain true? Especially when the only world they've known has gone to shit... Buckle up for some extreme mayhem. *Warning* This story includes strong language, sexual scenes, violence and triggering topics. Surviving Daryl Dixon by flowuz
8 parts Ongoing Mature
In a world overrun by the undead, survival is the only law. Isabelle, a lost girl wandering the apocalypse, is found by Daryl Dixon, as she's passed out and surrounded by walkers. He saves her from being eaten, only to tell her to get lost once she wakes up. Yet, despite his harsh demeanor and insistence, they find themselves unable to part ways. Daryl's lethal skills and ruthless nature make him as dangerous as the Walkers; perhaps even more deadly. His dark, haunted eyes reveal little, and his words are a harsh mix of survival and regret. "I should've done it. I should've killed you," he mutters, torn between keeping her safe and pushing her away. Isabelle's persistence chips away at his defenses, but Daryl remains guarded. "Look, whatever it is you're holding on to; it's already gone, man. Wake the hell up," he snaps, trying to drive her away while staying close enough to protect her. His internal conflict is loud-he hates and loves her, wishing she were gone but unable to let her go. Despite his rough edges, Daryl's protective instincts emerge. "I don't know what I'm doing. But I'm trying really hard. I wish things were like how you want them to be. That's the way they should be. But they aren't. And I have to keep you safe. I'm gonna hold onto the gun for a while... till you want it. Or not. But either way, you're stuck with me." "Look, the world is just shit sometimes. And you live with it. Sometimes that's all you can do." In "Surviving Daryl Dixon," Isabelle must navigate a world of external threats and the complexities of a man who is as much a savior as he is a danger.

"We'll be ok, princess." - Merle Dixon How would you feel if zombies take over your life, take the ones you love, your most precious belongings, everything that matters the most to you? Yeah. The feelings not great. Here I am with the last people I thought I would be with during a 'zombie apocalypse', Merle and Daryl Dixion. Why them? I don't know. I'm still asking myself the same question. But that doesn't matter, what matters is we make it through this mess, right? Right. Me and the Dixion brothers against the world. We'll make it, I know it.
