She went as far as manipulating their daughter, convincing Sarada that Sasuke was a traitor who deserted their family, leading to Sarada's intense animosity towards him.
His disillusionment grew deeper; this wasn't the life he sought after redeeming himself through protecting Konoha from the shadows. Marrying Sakura turned out to be a regrettable choice.
