5 months after Valka was taken from Berk by the Stormcutter she calls Cloudjumper, she is drawn to a distress call of a dying dragon during her search in the woods of possible hunter camps. It is then she finds the source to be a male Light Fury dying from heartbreak from his Night Fury being murdered before his very eyes while he protected their egg. The egg he entrusted to Valka after he knew who she was.
The egg that held a baby Nightlight that would be born with the most unusual colour of stripes in all of Fury history.
