Percy Jackson is as average as any teenager gets. He liked sports, ate way too much, and grew a little sporadically.

Well, he can see weird monsters nobody else can, but other than that, he considered himself to be fairly normal.

But everything he thought he knew about himself was flipped on its head on one fateful field trip, and he hadn't been the same since.

Unknowingly to everybody around, a power deep inside of him was unlocked, an ancient power, one that would dominate for decades to come.

Goodbye to his small, dinky little flat in Queens, hello to... Camp Half-Blood?

I can't write summaries very well, but it's essentially a more-in-tune-with-his-powers Percy story that follows the same beats as the books but some things may be changed.

He's stronger, has an ancient power inside of him that I'll explain more as we go along. He won't be insanely OP, at least not initially but still.
