Kayla Michaels has always been the top student. Spelling bee winner, valedictorian, anything academic. When she gets ready to apply to Harvard, she learns that she doesn't have the social skills to get in, forcing her to go to the local community college. She learns how to make friends, play sports and get a boyfriend. Well the boyfriend part being a little more complicated when she has to choose between the cute smart basketball player or her middle school best friend. She can only choose one.

Kayla was the perfect example of what every parent wanted their daughter to be , she made straight A's in school , head cheerleader , honor society , valedictorian everything a parent dreamed. Dated the big man on campus star quarterback head of his class, she got accepted into all of the colleges she applied for she decided on University of California , Berkley. She gets to college and everything changes when she meets resident bad boy Desean , he's one of the best if not the best wide receiver on the team and such a ladies man. Him being a Junior and Kayla just being a freshmen he sees her as being an easy target but Kayla shows him otherwise not only does she have a boyfriend who is at University of Florida but she's not the type of girl that Desean is used to. That doesn't stop him from pursuing her , he likes a chase makes it more fun , once Kayla gives Desean exactly what he wants will he walk away like he usually does or will Kayla be the game changer ?
