His eyes tracked me like I was prey, not even saying a word. The heat of his pupils watched my undoing.

"Typical," I whispered, " I'm tired of this. I'm tired of you. You are a liar."

" A liar?" he asked.

" A liar," I chanted back, "you are a liar through and through. You are not good enough to be my mate."

His eyes darken, daring me to continue. Muscles bulking by the second, as if he was under attack. As if he was asserting his dominance and...

Neera is a witch, or the politically correct phase- a power wielder, and is an outcast in her coven. Only because of the mere fact, that she seems to lack power.

Living in her coven, which she was forced to be in, isn't easy. Especially, after one night changed her ever-twisting life. An encounter with those who are seen as barbaric to her kind. Those who rip apart the weak and cower at the strong. Those who transform into beasts. Those whose stories are told at night to scare children. Those who her kind kill for sport, shifts Neera, the outcasted witch with no power wielding, life forever.

Will this new path break the weak but definitely not docile witch, or power wielder? Will it wither away her already cracked interior?
