18 November, 2024 The 10K Nanowrimo i wish I woulda submitted when I was 14. Told in 4 parts, this is an unedited, first draft literary story bordering on poetic style prose. There are elements of psychological, general, teen, and horror. This isn't a cautionary tale, it's just a tale. Some that one can relate to. It's hard to trust people, especially the ones who make you feel really good really fast. But you must have discernment in this life or there'll be consequences. M is your Northern California bred protagonist who has a plethora of friends sandwiched in her daily routine. She's just like you, she works, she drinks after work, she goes home. But then there's a guy....there's always a guy isn't there? This is how she and her small universe copes.

Noelle was a normal, happy eight-year-old with two loving parents. But in an instant her world was shattered when a man came into her home and brutally murdered her parents in front of her. Orphaned due to the "Killer", she was left traumatized and unable to speak. Mute. Eight years later, she lives with two women that treat her like nothing and a man who wants to be more than just a loving father - a foster family that can't be called a family. When Gabriel Edwards, a peculiarly nice boy with stunning blue eyes, comes into her life, she finds her pessimistic view of the world slowly begin to change. But with her past constantly coming back to haunt her... Will she ever find happiness?
