Rachel and Mike are two ordinary people who become unsuspecting victims of a conspiracy but in very different ways. When a pharmaceutical company launches its claimed cure for cancer, there becomes a desperate need to cover up its faults and even profit from it. The need to remove its opposition and known skeptics becomes essential. Society in response to the launch and failing nature of the cure has become authoritarian and paranoid. Corruption, denial, coverups, and desperation are found in every corner. Can Rachel and Mike escape the conspiracy against them?
