Diary of a Sailor

I worked as an able seaman in various oil tankers at Baltic Sea, North Sea and occasionally crossed the North Atlantic throughout the 90s. I made habit of writing a diary during those years. I tried to gather some of my old diary entries to tell my story. I removed some of the details and there is a big time gap between each entry. Early years of my adult life all circled around a woman. I chased her my entire life and finally got married to her.

After so many years, she came to my dreams, out of nowhere and with her, all the memories. I was thinking of her for the last few months and decided to create this collage. I thought I left the past behind but it seems that no matter how long it takes, you cannot forget about certain things. Her memories never stop chasing me.
