[BEFORE U READ]; The contents within this book can be deemed as highly triggering, viewer discretion is highly advised. Mature audiences only. The glare of the glistening moonlight shines through Vincete's rugged apartment window; he approaches the window. Examining the outside city, ''.. broken windows, .. graffiti, .. stolen vehicles..'', He'd mumble as he gazed out the cracked glass. The faded guides on the road, the paint job on the corner store VESCO, where Vincete worked. Peeling so much so that it resembled the artwork of a three-year-old girl who got her hands on scissors and made what looked like a multitude of long jagged, rigged lines, cut up so they could hang limply. Taking in one last look at the depressing scenery, he indolently made his way over to the living room. Almost ragdoll-like, Vincete plopped himself out on the couch, he reached for the remote and switched to the news. ''The bodies of two missing girls, sixteen-year-old Asia Ramirez and nineteen-year-old Marylou Campbell were found mutilated and inhumanely dismembered inside an oil -..''. He'd cut the television off. ''It's everywhere..'' he phrased in an unusual manner. ''What to do.. what to do.. '', he rambled on, fidgeting his thumbs. Sweat began to drip down his face, ''it's okay my love.. we're okay..'', he grasped the cold, rotting, flesh of his once lover. The pelt of his partner, ''I love you.'' He'd say, eyes buldging at the skin. ''I'll wear you.. and cherish you. I'll take care of you, my dearest.''

He leans in, his breath ghosting over my skin, every inch of space between us collapsing. "Still pretending you have a choice?" His voice is soft, almost amused. My throat tightens, but I force the words out anyway. "I don't belong to you." A low, knowing chuckle rumbles through him. Fingers tighten around my chin, tilting my face up until I'm caught in his unyielding gaze. Cold. Calculating. "Belong?" he echoes, as if the word itself is laughable. "You exist because I allow it. You breathe because I haven't taken that from you, yet." Tears burn at the edges of my vision, but I don't dare look away. "Fight all you want," he murmurs, eyes scanning my face, his grip unshaking. "Scream, beg, break--I don't care. In the end, little one, you'll learn. Because every part of you?" His lips brush against my ear, a cruel whisper of finality. "It's already mine." __________________________________________ A meaningless prank call caused this disaster, a series of deaths and misery. And maybe it was more than a prank call... maybe it was your loved ones, the people you least expect it to be, to stab you in the back. After all, they do say money changes a person. **18+** **DARK ROMANCE**
