‼️⚠️THIS FANFICTION WAS THOUGHT OUT ABOUT AND MADE BEFORE THE NEW INANIMATE INSANITY SEASON 2 EPISODES, THIS FANFICTION FEATURES SOMETHINGS THAT CONTRADICT SOME OF THE CANNON STORY (Just pretend any episode that takes place after season 3 doesn't exist for this one)⚠️‼️
Everything is going fine in Hotel OJ. Inanimate Insanity Invitational had just concluded, so now everyone is back at the hotel, even the remaining season 2 contestants who are waiting for MePhone to resume the season (not the season 3 newbies though, but some could possibly make a cameo *wink* *wink*). One day, OJ has to leave for a month to have time with his family and puts Paper in charge. But little does OJ know, Evil Paper is ready for his comeback.
TW: Violence, gore, a little bit of swearing, some ships, and probably some phobia triggers.
(Also, apologies if I ever mischaracterize any characters in this story. I'm mainly doing this stuff because I can, but I'm really trying my hardest to be as cannon as I possibly can personality wise.)
By the way, the entire story will be strictly in 3rd person.

After the Fun War all partypoopers vanished into the Promised Land. The problem appeared when one of them accidently noclipped straight into the Funrooms, with no way back. Lightbulb wakes up in Hotel OJ to find everything... perfect. Too perfect. Everyone's acting like the best possible versions of themselves - Knife is gentle and soft-spoken, Taco and Pickle are happily together with no tension, and Balloon has completely dropped his desperate people-pleasing act. Even MePhone seems more stable and kind. At first, Lightbulb thinks this is amazing! All the conflict and drama that used to stress her out are gone. But something feels fundamentally wrong. The conversations are too polite, the smiles too consistent, and everyone keeps insisting they've "always been this way." When Lightbulb tries to bring up past arguments or drama, everyone looks at her with genuine confusion. "Lightbulb, why would you think Knife ever threatened anyone?" "Taco would never manipulate people, that's such a mean thing to suggest!" They seem genuinely hurt that she'd imply they were ever anything but perfect. She has to choose: pretend to be the "normal" version of herself that they want, or risk everything to restore her friends' true selves. But the more she fights against the artificial normalcy, the more she questions if maybe being "fixed" wouldn't be so bad after all...
