"I love you," James said, and it sounded like he was telling the truth, but I couldn't be certain. "How do I know that you aren't just playing with my feelings?" I asked. "Because you are my everything. Everything I ever wanted, everything I ever wished to have." He said, sounding heartfelt. What more could I want from this man? "Good thing, I love you too," I said, cracking a smile. James Lang was a 28-year-old detective, relatively young for his age and was often times seen as naive, James wanted to prove himself by taking one of the most difficult cases in his city. The Chainler case, a serial killer case, which had taken his town by storm, people being killed left and right. He was serious about this case, but ultimately found someone that piqued his interested along the way, Adam Conner, a 38 year old man who worked in a small library that James liked to visit and work on his cases at. Adam and James embark on a journey of romance and mystery, but there was a big lie keeping them from reaching their full potential. Once this lie was brought to the light, to put it simply, all hell would break loose.All Rights Reserved
