Redinfel was raised in Craven, in Northumbria. Born to a Saxon woman, but raised by Danes. Her father and brother were killed by the bastard son of Ubba, who took her handcrafted weapon as a trophy.
She escaped him and his cruelty, and made her way into the band of Uhtred's inner circle. Though she has sworn her sword to Uhtred, she plans for her revenge on Ubbason.
