Shardonay's lifelong bestfriend, Celisse which who had became her roommate could be a burden at times due to drug habits, her boyfriend's abusive behavior, and rent struggles. Shardonay opens up to Marshall, a new resident in the apartments she stays at, the guy going through struggles his own self. They didn't meet when she was very clear minded prompting her to not recognize him...or really remember anything from what she didn't know was a gonna turn into a havoc night on her 21st birthday.

Marshall and Shardonay share moments of comfort amid life's chaos. They'd talk...or even just sit in silence but still his presence made her feel comfortable-same for him and it confused the both of them giving the fact that they were pretty much strangers.

Marshall faces challenges with his baby mama, striving for a 'happy' family for his daughter. As Shardonay's and Marshall's bond deepens, his sudden fame, Celisse's struggles, Marshall's short temper, and Shardonay's sensitive feelings may jeopardize their connection and cause difficult obstacles.
