Hadley Truman grew up in Kings County, her world begins to crumble around her when a police officer, who had been trying to save her from her mother, is shot while on duty, then the world literally begins crumbling, with the dead rising and walking and eating the living. What happens when some redneck jerk becomes an important person in the young womans life and the same cop, who had been presumed dead, comes back? Only, he's not dead, but very alive.
