Johnnie has been dealing with some childhood trauma, having no way to deal with it he talked to his therapist about it, and how Johnnie sometimes slips into this space where he can't think and just acts like a total child. Dr. Thomas looking over the notes' starts explaining to him about little space and telling him that it's very possible that he has that. Johnnie not knowing how to handle it and starts stressing about what Jake's gong to think about it rushes home.
