Her first day there would have been fine if a body wasn't found in the girl's bathroom of Veritas Hall.
The cause of death was ruled as a suicide, an opioid overdose, but Adaeze can't shake the feeling there was more to the girl's death. Mysteries play out in blurred images leaving questions with answers which are anything but within reach. Following Mmachi's release from the juvenile prison, several things just don't seem to add up and it's up to Chidiogo to figure it all out. Amidst all the chaos one thing is certain: everyone is out to get her. A faceless, blue-eyed stalker lurks in the shadows, thirsty for her blood; almost everyone in Mmachi's circle has a reason to want her dead. And it just seems like Mmachi might have the strongest of them all. Secrets hide out in plane sight as everyone plays with fire. Burns are unquestionably left. Unfortunately, that isn't all. In a game where the ultimate price to pay is your sanity and with never ending puzzle pieces which seem further from being solved as the days go by, what should have been an escape from Chidiogo's terrifying past turns out to be far more lethal. And it all revolves around the seemingly harmless anagram 'ekila': the one thing she should have never ignored. HIGHEST RANKING #1 in Psycho-thriller
