Ironpaw lost his parents when he was only a kit. Although he is not alone, thanks to his best friend, Batpaw. But as his peaceful life erupts into the bloody chaos of battles, and the secrets of the past come to surface, he must learn to let go and overcome his worst fears to survive. 
The other kits always make fun of small Brightkit. One day, he storms out of FrostClan's camp, fleeing from the bullies. This ends in tragedy, not only for him, but for the whole Clan.
