In this story, Azariena Hernandez, a grade 11 student, was facing a difficult situation. She had been best friends with Dome Mclane Gallagher for years. Azariena felt like there was something more to their connection, something that went beyond friendship. She finally found the courage to confess her feelings to Dome, hoping for a positive response. However, Dome didn't give a clear answer and said they needed some time to figure out their feelings. Azariena was left in a state of uncertainty, unsure of what the future held for them. With her feelings still fresh and raw, she wondered if this was just a slow burn, or if the chance had passed them by.
