Against all odds, Colton Reynolds has managed to escape the Second Titan War with his own life, that of his sister Clarisse La Rue and her boyfriend Chris Rodriguez, Colton's younger brother Sherman Yang, and Colton's girlfriend Kayla Knowles, Apollo's daughter, plus that of Michael Yew, his best friend. Life seems sweet, even with the next Great Prophecy preparing to progress further. But then, both Percy Jackson, Luke Castellan, Michael and Colton disappear, and life becomes stranger than ever.
The Second Giant War is here, and with quite a few Gods and Goddesses having people they'd like to keep alive, Colton is about to find out just what it takes to keep up with people like Percy Jackson and Jason Grace.
All the while, Porphyrion, Enceladus and Periboia are still out there, the rogue Giants looking to crush Colton and then use the power of the Monster King to defeat everyone else.
