Melanie Rory, or also known as Mel or Rory to her close friends, is and was a beautiful girl with her beautiful long brown hair and blue eyes. Although Mel was well known by the people in school, she wasn't popular and actually kept to herself most of the time. Mel had some troubles at home but besides that, she had a good life; nice house, life, and friend group. Most other girls envied her for her look but she never really saw why.

Alex Rose did not live such a wonderful life as Mel. When Alex was six, his father, John Rose, was murdered by his best friend, Percy. After his father's passing, his mother shut down and neglected Alex from things.
