This is NOT at all canon to Welcome Home or the AU it was made in, Los Vaqueros de Casa. This is its own little side AU. Charlotte has grown more lenient with side AUs currently and is allowing them as long as they are stated to be side AUs

I also wish to say that Home will start out as an ASS in this. He will be how I perceive his canon self based on what we've seen and what the lore writers (Charlotte and Ara) have told us about him. BUT! HE DOES GET BETTER! THIS I PROMISE! But seeing as the book is a slow burn, it will take a while.
