(So this is my first story and I'm still kind of new to all this story shiz but please if you have constructive criticism, tell me and I will do my best to rewrite some parts of my story)
The Lost Friend is a story of a young middle schooler kid in the United States, who is very mature and immature for his age. (most men can testify to this) 13-year-old David Astrec was one of the more well-known guys in his school, he wasn't popular just well-known. The so-called reason he's so well known throughout his grade is because of how deep his voice is and how menacing his eyes are. but in some sporadic cases, people start to warm up to him. But it all comes crashing down when he says something that he regrets.

Jasper Hastings - A transfer student, who seems to have the entire school wrapped around his fingers, with money, power and influence, this 17 year old can get away with everything. Harbouring secrets, and an entirely different persona under his aloof smile, he chooses Eliza to becomes new muse. My Teddy
The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. Ever since I was a kid, I knew I was different. Other children didn't like hanging out with me. I was silently bullied, and even the teachers seemed to hate me. And honestly? I was ugly. I really was... different. The way I talked, the way I walked-people even said my walk was horrifying (don't ask). The way I did things, the things I found interesting... they all set me apart. Then I entered high school. Suddenly, I became popular. I was beautiful, with a figure people envied. I had tons of friends-three-quarters of whom I still don't know by name. I had the perfect best friend. Teachers adored me. I was even the school's valedictorian. Sure, people still called me weird, but I ruled.
