"It's in the darkest nights that we see the brightest stars."

"What does that even mean?"

I shrug, turning away from his cold gaze, and looking out towards the night sky.

"I don't know, I think we spend so much time looking for answers when perhaps the beauty lies in the questions themselves."

Sirius Maebelle is forced to go to Axel Academy, a brutal military school where survival is the only rule.

There she meets Isaac: cocky, ruthless, and untouchable. The second they meet, their hatred ignites. Maybe Its becuase Siri wore whatever she wanted. No matter how hard it was to find colored clothing In this gray little world, or how weird it was to wear something other than colorless sad things. Maybe that's why he hated her so much. Because she was different. Maybe he hated her so much because she hated him. Or maybe, he hated her so much because on her first day, she shot a penny in his eye.

It's probably the last one.

No matter the reason, they are opposites- Color and colorless. Light and dark. Born to clash.

But in a place of deadly training, never ending war, and buried secrets- a corrupt king, mysterious deaths, and a truth that could shatter their world- Isaac and Siri are forced to work together.

When the line between love and hate begins to blur, Sirius and Isaacs mutual hatred begins to shift into something far more dangerous than the raging wars.

And you know what they say, To hate someone with your whole heart is to give them the power to steal it.
