Ashley Simmons, the sixteen year old sophomore who loved schoolwork, and binge watching shows, also loved watching teens skateboard, it was incredibly entertaining, not to mention, the more scared and worried she got for the skaters, the more fun it got. She's always wanted to try, but she doesn't know anyone who could teach her, and she is far too anti-social to go up and ask someone, especially the skaters. That is, until she almost gets hit by one of them, the boy she was most interested in watching, the cute boy she'd study as she watched. Walker Nolan. Walker Nolan, the seventeen year old junior loved skating, loved it more than anything else he did, he'd pick it over meeting his favorite celebrity. If he wasn't skating, he was enjoying time with his family or spending time at the beach, he'd never really do anything else. Except for when he'd need his alone time, and he'd find himself in his secret place where no one else knew about. His favorite part about skating, was her. The violet eye'd, black haired, sweats wearing, cute girl who'd watch him and other teens skate around. They both never knew that once he'd almost hit her, their lives would change. He'd teach her how to skate, and they'd find themselves falling for each other in time.

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights.
