This poem was written by a young Indian girl arrested for drug charges after being an addict of meth. Not long after she was released from prison she was found dead from an overdose with the needle still in her arm. She describes the spine chilling horrors of meth and effects it brings upon loved ones from her personal experience with the drug. This poem was shared to help those in or being led to this life-style to take in mind the serious consequences of meth before its too late. Nora is crippled by anxiety that lurks beneath a Good Girl shell. Lucas is drowning under the weight of his rage and depression. They've been best friends since they were babies living on the same suburban street and have never needed anything but each other, until they find a new method of escape. Gus is a poly-addict whose drug of choice is meth. He's been living on LA's infamous Skid Row for months. Being on his own is nothing new, and he's survived for years on the streets of Chicago and LA, trying to avoid being put back into foster care. But the system eventually catches up to him. When he meets Lucas and Nora at a court ordered rehab center for teens, he begins to question whether or not sobriety is possible for him... if it means confronting his past. This story was inspired by the heroin epidemic in suburban America. Book 1 of 3- undergoing full revision Possible triggers: descriptive drug use, language, sex, suicide ideology, self harm, domestic abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse of a minor, rape of a minor (including sodomy) and violence with descriptions of weapons, blood and gore. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to.
