Celebrating the end of year five Slytherin house decides to throw a party. Slowly settling into the party atmosphere Albus unwinds and has a bit too much fire whisky. He ends up confessing more than he expected to Scorpius and by the time he realizes what he has said it's too late for either of them to avoid their feelings any longer.

People said our dads fell in love, but were kept apart by their parents. But dad said this wasn't true, and I believe him, I always have. He's not always right though. He also said that Scorpius Malfoy would be trouble, and I should stay away from him. But I stuck to him like glue and became his best friend instead. While his parents were away, we got to stay at his house, the famous Malfoy mansion. This story contains mainly Scorbus, with a little Wolf star hidden in there too- I couldn't bear to let them die in this version when they were so clearly married. Sorry Tonks x Obviously I don't own the characters, that's all Queen J K, and Warner Brothers, if you want to get technical. Also I got the idea from my favourite fanfic ever, "three weeks at Malfoy Manor", (google it, it'll be the first to pop up it's really good, I promise). As always, I pride myself on good grammar, but if you find any mistakes, please tell me so I can correct them. I spent a long time on this one. And finally (sorry for the rally long description) I hope you enjoy! I certainly had a lot of fun writing this one. Caroline x

After defeating Delphi, Albus and Scorpius are back in Hogwarts, right in the middle of their fifth year. Things are wholly different, now. Scorpius and Rose are dating, walking hand-in-hand in the corridors and Albus cannot help but feel jealous of the two. The sweltering question was: why was he jealous? Some things, however, remained the same. The bullies. The prejudice. The uncertainty. But that wasn't the worst of it. Albus thought he could forget about the horrors of what had happened last year with Delphi, but after a sinister lesson orchestrated by a familiar face, it seems that the past has a firm grip on both Albus and Scorpius. It is up to the two of them to defeat their qualms once and for all: before history repeats itself. *I edited "The Inevitable Fate" to make Albus have brown skin since that's how I have always seen him. :) * *I do NOT support transphobic J.K. Their Grandpa Weasley told them to never trust anything if you couldn't see where it kept its brain. "A photo album. I don't want Dad to find it. You can look at it, though." James reached out and took the album from his brother's desperate hands and opened it, looking at the photos of the two of them together. "You both look so happy, " James observed. "Why don't you look that happy here?" Albus shrugged but admitted, "I don't feel like I can be myself here."

Even after going on that completely MENTAL time-traveling adventure with Albus Potter and having his birth status confirmed, Scorpius was still "that odd Malfoy kid," while Albus himself had suddenly become a Hogwarts icon. This made Scorpius feel second-best to a former fellow loser- never a good feeling. But he was bound to distinguish himself someday, he reasoned. Why not now? Scorpius Malfoy and Lily Potter. Two adolescents who were trying to break free from predetermined images that had been thrust upon them. Their only obstacles? Each other.

I originally wrote this story in swedish about a year ago so my writing skills has probably changed since then. Based on the amazing works of JK Rowling!
