Many of my Asian friends, family and I have long been suffering racism from some Black people. It almost feels like it is politically incorrect to point out the fact, but in reality, when I hear the term racism I will immediately think of a Black man or woman – instead of a White man or woman. Of course I have experienced racist treatment from both Black and White people, yet the experience from the former is overwhelmingly more frequent and severe than the latter. I never openly discuss my feeling and my point of view in depth except with my family and a few friends. But I think it’s time to set this topic free on discussion.

People always say be yourself and be happy in your own skin right? Well it's hard to be happy with yourself when your me. When people always stare at you, make remarks and embarrass you. You put on a brave face to cover the pain but the pain will escape one day. When a person who respects you and understands you brings out a side of yourself you never knew existed and things change forever. There's no going back once love enters your life.
