Ian Perez Herrera and Malcom Ramirez are always down for a good adventure. Whether it be they have to be firefighters for a week just so one of them can rescue a kitten from the tree first or infiltrate a multi-billion-dollar company just to expose its corrupt manager, they were always invested.

But now bored, looking for a new adventure. Malcom comes up with a plan to rob a bank just for the fun of it, while Ian adds on to it and suggests they donate the stolen money to charity. With a plan in motion, a plan that guarantees they don't get caught. they follow through with the heist.

However, the plan didn't cover what to do if they potentially get framed for murder and now, they have to figure out a way how to clear their names so they're not going to jail for not only robbing a bank but for also murdering the bank teller's daughter.

The plan also didn't cover what to do if Ian fell head over heels for the witty barista down at the coffee shop that knows a little more than she lets on.

Will they be able to prevail? Will Ian develop a love life? Will Malcom get to eat a triple decker meat lovers sandwich in thirty secs? Read on to find out.

"What is your name?" I asked, staring into her doe-like eyes. Almost immediately her face twisted in horror. Her eyes switched back and forth frantically like an exit would suddenly appear out of thin air. The sides of her lips turned downward like it was taking everything in her not to burst into a sob. Sure, she was scared--that much was expected-- but I could see the anger. I could see she was furious with me. Interesting. I thought to myself. As much as I wanted to explore how far I could push her until she retaliated; time was of the essence right now. I was staring at an unrecognizable girl. A mistake like this will get a lot of people killed. "I asked you a fucking question, didn't I? I don't like repeating myself." I growled as I grabbed her small face in my hand, making her eye shut in pain. "Harley. Harley Anderson," she spat softly like an angered kitten. Harley. I let her name roll over my tongue for a while. Every second that passed made my vision go black with anger. I looked away from her face before releasing the hold I had on her. I felt my jaw clench in anger and my fist flex in readiness as I stared off in the distance, trying to control my anger from making me lash out. However, I couldn't control myself. She is the wrong girl. We have the wrong girl. ------------ Harley Anderson was an average girl with an almost too simple life before being taken by the biggest cartel in New Mexico right in front of her best friend, Avery. Xander Sanchez, the leader of the Riot cartel has nothing else on his agenda besides making his ex-business partner pay for his wrongdoings. What happens when Avery is the center of the operation, but it all goes wrong, and now Harley finds herself in a situation she never dreamed of? What happens when Harley is taken and forced to work under the boss? Will Harley be able to survive working under this ruthless man? What happens when the boss finds himself falling for the girl he least expected to capture his heart?

"You're staring at him again," Valentina sighs. "Hm?" I responded, not catching on to what Valentina was inferring. She tugs on my arm and shakes her head, chuckling. "You were staring at Mateo." She takes a sip of her coffee, looking up at me. "I'm not," I reply, "I was just daydreaming in his direction, it's his fault for sitting there." "Then why was there that look on your face just now?" "What?" I turn to her and she raises an eyebrow, "What look, Val?" "You look a certain way when you see him," Val pauses, to turn towards Mateo who was laughing at some joke Diego made, "You look at him as if he's some sort of new high-tech gun." "And?" Valentina sips her coffee, grinning at me, "You love guns." Maliyah is a tough nut to crack. She was brought up for her shell to never crack, never to let anyone walk through the door that leads to her heart, which is why she vows to only fuck, never to open that door leading to a relationship. But Mateo has a way of doing things, he always manages to succeed in everything. When he finds that it might not be as easy to get into Maliyah's heart, he just broke down the door leading to it.
