Kenzie is going through what seems to be like impossible obstacles. An abusing "mother" who constantly puts her down mentally and takes her down physically. Worse, her dad is sick. He basically lives in the hospital. How can an 18 year old handle so much?
Trick question. She can't. Everyone has a breaking point. Unfortunately, Kenzie is about to have hers.
Did I mention she is adopted? Oh. No? Well, she is. Nobody. I mean nobody but Kenzie knows what happened to her real parents. However, people knew it was traumatizing. They seem to notice Kenzie has been through so much. Her eyes that was filled with life was now empty. Who doesn't notice that?
