So far yet so close

i looked back at the time i was only worried about the forced marriage i got too,now life is so different. i went out and Wandering around the town, I found myself standing in the middle of the road.
Cars zoomed by and people glanced, So many things were happening yet everything was quiet. I looked up at the night sky and once again, got stuck in thousands of thoughts to wonder again what I truly wanted in life.
This answer was once so simple back then since my only wish was eternal love, where we would stay with each other till our calendar ends. but now, I have completely lost faith and gave up. I was so close yet so far from accomplishing it, nothing could have prepared me for this chaos, maybe I would have made a difference if you weren't so far away, but at that exact time when your calendar ended, is where I was the closest to your heart.
