Living as a crook in the Mobian kingdom, Sonic was a boy with the power to move faster than a blink. The citizens of the kingdom were not being treated fairly by the king and queen of Mobius. They had a daughter who would soon be announced as queen of the nation as long as she found a prince. After becoming desperate, they would force her to marry someone she didn't even love. Suddenly, the kingdom would be attacked, causing chaos and mass destruction. Both Sonic and the princess cross paths in the chaos. Would do two get along? Sonic is nothing more than a crook and the princess is a member of the royal family. Would they get along and be friends... or more, maybe? And lastly, can they save Mobius?

With the defenders of the kingdom strained thin, the victory seems eminent. Until a deformed, metal-coated warrior steps forward to meet the threat. Sonic the Hedgehog. Follow Sonic and Shadow as the two heroes fight for true rule over the kingdom of Mobius, and claim what each truly believes to be justice. Fall into Chaos is meant to be my love-letter to the series. While this can still be enjoyed with a minimal understanding of the series, it does help to know your stuff! The story is meant to really unravel the characters of the franchise I love. Really highlight their flaws, strengths, motivations, all that. And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With plenty of Sonic's trademark cheesiness and personality. So with all that being said, please. Enjoy Fall into Chaos.
