Klein has strongly believed in Jinxing, despite that his mind continued to become more creative and optimistic. He often thinks of something that he wants to happen despite being too aware of himself.

His belief in jinxing contradicts his optimistic mind. Instead of working for that future he continues to daydream those moments gradually descending to a good for nothing.

You think he'd descend to madness? Fortunately for him his self-awareness is much more powerful to maintain his mind sane.

In his last year of high school, for once he tried to put an effort into something other than daydreaming for the first time in a while.
