Ewan Lane has recently been on a business trip abroad and is on his way back home to England, he meets Jessica Lawson as they sit next to each other on the plane. Jessica is moving back to her home country of England after living abroad for work for a little while. The plane has some major issues and ultimately ends up crash landing, killing all but a few passengers. Ewan and Jessica, along with the other surviving passengers have to survive (with injuries) on a remote island with hope of anyone coming to their rescue.

After some days stranded on the island, they are finally found and rescued. Ewan is able to reunite with his wife and their 5 year old son, and returns to work after a few weeks to learn that he's received a promotion, and that includes a new assistant.. Jessica Lawson. It isn't long until Ewan and Jessica have a drunken one-night stand, which they try to put behind them. With Jessica being single, and Ewan being in a marriage which is seriously struggling after a tragic event, the two find themselves attracted to each other and can't keep their eyes or hands off each other.. or their clothes on as they embark on a passionate affair.

With many things threatening to ruin Ewan's life one way or another, he must figure out what to do, stay with his wife and work on their marriage, or choose life with Jessica, risking losing the one person who he dotes on, his son. What will he do?
