A Spark of Hope

Coming from an abusive household, Gem struggles to live her life freely under the roof of her parents and grandmother on her father's side. One day, when she felt like she will never be free, she felt a small spark of hope when she caught a glimpse of the blue blur, Sonic the Hedgehog, as she began to continue fighting through the struggle until the day came where she could be free at last. Unknowing to her, it was also when Eggman began on a full-out attack in the town, destroying multiple buildings and trapping the civilians while meeting a new face along with realizing that Sonic has actually been defeated which would change her life forever within a few months. During that, she slowly starts to gain the courage to fight back and take back her home, then begins to join the Resistance to help say Sonic and take back the world from Eggman's rule.

(This story gives out a lil in depth backstory of my oc, Gem, while recalling the storyline from Sonic Forces while adding a few details to the story from her perspective. However, since this story will touch on some mature topics, I will also put a trigger warning of the said mature topic, so always have a heads up for it at the beginning of the chapters that have it.
