She turned to leave, but then stopped and looked at Wriothesley again. "Have you seen the 'Masked Maniac' anywhere, Your Grace? I haven't seen him in a while, and I was wondering if something had happened to him."
Camille thought she saw Neuvillette raise an eyebrow, but she didn't look at him, courtesy of Wriothesley's response. "Have you taken a fancy to him?"
"Archons, no! He was the only one who didn't blanch when I confessed to murder," she said, shaking her head, slightly exasperated. "I'm just fond of him."
Lumine scoffed and laughed, and Camille turned to look at her. But it was Paimon who explained. "I'm sure Childe has done far worse."

It has been weeks since the prophecy had been fulfilled, and Fontaine had been having constant rain. Wriothesley hasn't been outside the Fortress of Meropide since the prophecy, and has gotten barely any communication. When he decides to go out one day, it's raining. And he is greeted by a teary eyed Iudex Neuvillette. They have tea together, and everything seems to goes back to normal. But Wriothesley undergoes bad injuries and is taken in by Neuvillette, discovering something that isn't so simple. While he heals by Neuvillette, they start to grow close. And now, with the curtains closed, I-" Her voice wavered. "I don't know who I am anymore." A soft breeze passed between them. The city of Fontaine continued to thrive below, its people moving forward. But Furina remained frozen, trapped in a past that no longer existed. Neuvillette, however, did not pity her. "You have carried this burden alone for centuries," he said quietly. "It is only natural to feel unmoored now that it has been lifted." She scoffed lightly, though there was no real malice in it. "That's just a polite way of saying I'm lost, isn't it?" A faint smile ghosted Neuvillette's lips. "Perhaps." Furina exhaled sharply, shaking her head. "I want to leave," she murmured. "Start fresh. Find a new home." She let out a humorless chuckle. "I have money, at least. Being an Archon paid well." Neuvillette did not disagree. "...But I don't know where to go," she admitted. "Or who I'm supposed to be." A quiet pause. Then- "You do not have to decide everything now." Furina turned slightly, looking up at him. "The people of Fontaine do not hate you," Neuvillette continued. "You may not see it yet, but you are still a part of this nation."
