Dragons and humans - throughout the history of our worlds, these two races have always found themselves at odds, bound in an endless conflict.

Twenty years have passed since a band of humans mounted an assault against the dragon city of Vastadia, and as sure as the rising moons, tension is festering once again.

Despite this, on the last day of autumn, a young cook inadvertently finds himself in the company of a dragoness, and in a single act of selflessness, something beautiful is born.

Their friendship will test the boundaries of everything they stand for, steering the Shattered Isle onto a path no one could have predicted.
