My owl house oc, Layla Deamonne, and her perspective of Luz's journey in the demon realm. She is a Hexside student and is friends with Viney and most of the detention track even though she's in the potions track. She was adopted by Darius Deamonne when she was four and she doesn't remember her biological parents. This is her journey with Luz and coming to terms with the severity of the emperors schemes.

[Disclaimer!: I do not own the Owl House or its characters.] The students knew what the "Day of Unity" really was. Their parents didn't believe them, but as long as it was stopped. It wasn't a problem. Well, until Emperor Belos decided that they were too exhausting to be left alone anymore. A barrier was created that day. The rebels took the Knee half. Belos took the Head half. It couldn't be flown over. There was no way around it. One would need to walk through to get to the other side of the broken Isles. That journey was too dangerous to be done. Forcing both sides to keep to themselves until it came down. No survivors were recorded, fueling the rage towards the rebels. As one of them was accused of creating the barrier. This unstable, involuntary truce would not last forever. All either side could do was prepare for the increasingly violent fights between small groups.
