When I opened my eyes, I found myself inside a game.

"[Arcadia's Hero]" was a game centered around the adventures of the main character, Harrison, a young 15-year-old boy who, despite being a commoner, possessed a strong sense of justice. He joined the 'Octagram Academy' due to his outstanding talents. The game featured various arcs within the academy, where Harrison encountered other party members. After graduating from the academy, they set out to the demon world to defeat the Demon King of Chaos, Desmos.

I became part of that game as the crown prince who dies at the beginning of the game and only appears in flashback scenes of one of the heroines, Alara Van Grandis Carmine. She joins the hero's party due to her hatred for the demons responsible for her twin brother's death.

The most significant problem is that I am supposed to be dead before the game starts, and I only have four years to become strong enough to change my fate.

If I'm going to die regardless, might as well die sooner rather than later. But that desire for death causes more than just a few changes to the definite plot; From little ones that have no effect at all, to life changing ones that may destroy the world of Arraxus. Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends.
