Year 2100, the world has been overrun by the undead. The living who became the first witnesses have been added to their ever growing numbers. Only a small amount of survivors, with their limited supplies in tow. Established a last base in a military base boot camp. A tired old man named Zairo and his small group are what's left of humanity. In the brink of defeat all his crew were overrun by the sheer numbers, but one of his close friends had made a prototype time traveling device that could send anyone back in time. However, it could only be used on one person. Before turning Zairo flipped the time devices switch. In a flash a bright light had blinded Zairo, unbeknownst if the device worked as intended. Losing Consciousness his vision goes black. When he awoke he found that he is young again in his twenties . Moreover, it is also a few months time before the outbreak begins. With the limited time Zairo has, he prepares for the end of the world. Operation Undead Defender begins.

Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel
What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. I see you're awake finally. Let me explain, I'm the overseer, and my name is Hayley, I will guide you on your journey through this time era. Your name is Lexi, you needn't know you second name as it is useless now. That girl you are staring at is you, and you don't know anything because I made sure of that." The voice of which belongs to the person known as Hayley, booms through the room with a posh accent but audibly angry... Why was she angry with me? "As of now people are dying evidently people become depressed and aggressive to one and other. They all used to live in harmony and happiness, that was until the 'things started to raise. The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. That is all I can tell you for the moment Lexi, but know their are people waiting for your arrival, and we are waiting for you to end this suffering race." He can see the future - someone's dangerous future. Maybe others can see that as a gift but for him, it was a curse. After a vision . . . seconds, minutes and hours had passed but his conscience were still bothering and convincing him to help the person he saw but there is something that pulling him back . . . his life was stopping him from saving and helping others. Because everytime he saves life, there's a clock appearing in his mind, showing him how long he will only live.
