Year 2100, the world has been overrun by the undead. The living who became the first witnesses have been added to their ever growing numbers. Only a small amount of survivors, with their limited supplies in tow. Established a last base in a military base boot camp. A tired old man named Zairo and his small group are what's left of humanity. In the brink of defeat all his crew were overrun by the sheer numbers, but one of his close friends had made a prototype time traveling device that could send anyone back in time. However, it could only be used on one person. Before turning Zairo flipped the time devices switch. In a flash a bright light had blinded Zairo, unbeknownst if the device worked as intended. Losing Consciousness his vision goes black. When he awoke he found that he is young again in his twenties . Moreover, it is also a few months time before the outbreak begins. With the limited time Zairo has, he prepares for the end of the world. Operation Undead Defender begins.

Here we are again with the crew! Back with the Ringleader, the Archer, the Samurai, the Batter, and the Kid! In an alternate universe where instead of zombies plaguing the world, it's mutants. However, they have different names now. The Ringleader - The Bearer The Samurai - The Guardian The Archer - The Improviser The Batter - The Runner The Kid - The Medic Mutants are creatures that look human but have one distinct characteristic that proves their true from. It's their eyes. Look into an abyss of blues with rows of symbols circling around the pupil to know the truth. The only way to beat them is to destroy the heart. Once found out, the mutants turn to their real form. They become beasts of legend. Serpants that dwell deep in the sea. Lizards that grow in size and take flight to the skies. Hounds that double or triple in size and spew the elements. And many more shapes, colors, and sizes. Once transformed the heart is shown involuntarily, simply dangling around the neck like a pendant. Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel
What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. It's been only a couple years since 'they' have come and the Human population has decreased at a rapid speed where most of 'them' are now in the head. In 2045, I joined the Black Dawn with a boy named Zen. He was kind and sweet to me-but he also has a dark side to him. One that could kill me and everyone else in the Black Dawn. I knew he didn't mean to have the dark side but it was the only way to make sure he stays alive. Anyway, the Black Dawn is a place to protect Humans from 'them' and now it's the opposite. It's a place where secrets are kept hidden and betrayals are just around the corner. Plus 'they' are knocking on the wall that surrounds us to let 'them' in and someone may open the door to our doom.Complete
