"Cut the Mr. Knight bullshit, sweetheart. We both know I'm more than just your boss and it's futile to believe otherwise." He growls.

He leaned close to my ear, feeling his hot breath on it as he spoke his next words.

"You think you can get away from me, Elizabeth? Haven't I told you how that will end for you? YOU. ARE. MINE. I will kill any man who looks at you, do you understand that?" He says huskily in my ear.

"Nikolaos," I whined, his grip on me becoming tighter as he spoke.
