Lexi is not your typical second chance mate. Lexi had a loving mate and had a great life with him for 3 years before he was killed by a rouge leaving her and their kids to mourn his loss. He had only been gone 2 years before Lexi decided to leave her pack and start a new. While in the new pack she found something she didn't plan on finding.
Jake is well into his 30's and never expected to find his mate. When a few new pack members move to Black moon pack to start new he never expected one to be his mate. He never expected his mate to have kids and he thinks the worst. He has plans to reject her but he accidentally become friends with her kids. He soon learns more about her and try's his hardest to get her to accept him.
