It's testing day, and the results are out! The population has evolved to now contain the Xaiyon Gene, a morph in one's DNA that allows them to control one of the seven elements: water, fire, wind, earth, ice, electricity, and metal. Only 5% of the population tests positive for the gene, but everyone is mandated to be tested regardless of the result at the age of 16.

Wen's one goal in life is to join a varsity team and participate in the Varsity Games for a Xaiyon Academy. Of course, if he does well, he will become famous and all the girls will cheer for him. But don't get him wrong; fame is not the drive behind his dream. He needs the money. Simply put, Wen Kaihan is poor and will do anything to support his mother and two younger sisters. So, when he gets the blood test back, he is thrilled to see the results. He can now start his dream.

But wait! Wen's dream suddenly becomes a nightmare when he hears that his one enemy, the person he hates the most in the world, Kean Li, is also fighting to join a varsity team! Turns out, joining a v-team is not going to be as easy as Wen thought it would. 

Will Wen and Kean be able to resolve their bad blood, or will joining a varsity team only deepen their rivalry and hatred for the other?
